Hi!

We are two students, both studying Communication and Multimedia Design in Breda, that’s in the Netherlands. We think the Kiva project is very authentic project which creates a solid future for those we can help. When you become a KIVA-participant you can lend your money to somebody you need. You can exactly see where your money is at. Transparant and clear. We love it!

The class we’re in is about Advertising. Just the thing what can make KIVA even more bigger and global! It was the first time we heard about this concept, but since then we are proud members of KIVA.org! You can find our profiles at: http://www.kiva.org/lender/jannesvanbeijsterveldt and http://www.kiva.org/lender/julesreijnen.

We want to ask you, proud participators, to help us Smiley. We really want to know your experiences about the KIVA-project.

How can you help us exactly?

Upload a video with your KIVA-experience on Youtube and become friends of our YouTube-channel:

or

Leave your experience as a response on this Topic.

You would really help us and KIVA..

Many many thanks!
Jannes & Jules

Hey friends, thanks for making your way to KF and being proud supporters of Kiva itself.  There are actually at least a few threads located here where many of us have given our reasons for lending and involvement with Kiva that are both inspiring and informative.  Im out the door as we speak but Im sure a great guy or gal will come along and point you in the right direction toward finding those threads.  Many welcomes to you both!

I find not direction in the readings of those with whom my eccentricities are similar, but rather validation.

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.

Welcome to KivaFriends Jannes and Jules Hat Wave

When I first found Kiva, I was so very excited that here was a way that I could take my small amount of $ and add it to another small amount of $ and end up helping another person in need.

I read more and more of the entrpreneur stories and learned so much about the world and places I have never been.  The more I read, the more I realized how very fortunate I was to be born in my country.

Then - I came to this forum - I spent days and days reading old posts.  After a while all these people became real to me.  Here is a link to a thread started by Fiona Ramsey at Kiva asking "What's your Kiva story?. Perhaps some of what you are looking for will be here.

The internet has become such a good marketing tool and all of you young people need to make it work for the highest good of everyone in our world.  I hope lots of people add videos to your site - I will watch them and pass links to my friends.  I wish you well in your project.
