Hello Kiva Friends,

A week from friday I will be leaving for Dar es Salaam to start a placement with BRAC Tanzania as a Kiva Fellow.  I am so excited to get started.

I am overwhelmed by the vibrancy and dedication of the Kiva Friends community.  I look forward to sharing my experience in the field with you all.

Warm regards,

Jeremy

 Welcome Jeremy!

Thank you very much for taking time out of your busy training schedule to stop by at Kiva Friends!

I also look forward to reading about your experiences in the months to come.

Travel safe and be well,

"Our daughters can contribute just as much to society as our sons, and our common prosperity will be advanced by allowing all humanity - men and women - to reach their full potential. I do not believe that women must make the same choices as men in order to be equal, and I respect those women who choose to live their lives in traditional roles. But it should be their choice. That is why the United States will partner with any Muslim-majority country to support expanded literacy for girls, and to help young women pursue employment through micro-financing that helps people live their dreams." - President Barack Obama, June 4, 2009

Hat Wave Welcome Jeremy - thanks for dropping by...

We will sit here (not very patiently) awaiting your insights Smiley
Anything you send us (blogs - journals) will be pounced upon here with glee!

And yes - photos - please - we are addicted here at KF to the photos  Thumbs Up
(I understand one of the challenges in BRAC Tanzania is teaching the MFI people to use the digital cameras)

All the best, and thank you in advance for all your hard work as a volunteer
