We're doing the world map/push pins on the wall too.  We were using a globe, but that wasn't quite cutting it.  Laugh  We're homeschooling (unschooling) and it's a great opportunity to have more of a connection to other countries around the world.

Love looking at other's online maps though!  Thumbs Up

I forgot to mention that I use map pins that have a head like a small ball. Pushpins take up to much space.

I am using little stick on stars on my wall map.  And Henry, as far as a centerfold map in the next calendar, I am not sure you could make it large enough to be really useful for mapping loans.  Some of the countries are so close together you might cover at least 3 of them with one marker on a small map.  My map is 50" by 38" and even then I have to squeeze in Azerbaijan, Tajikistan etc.  It might be a good idea just for general reference though.

while looking for something fun to do with my KIVA loans and where they are located, I came across this site, and had fun playing a few of their games.
