Alfredo started the business because his children did not have enough money to continue their studies,
and because his wife has leukemia which requires very expensive treatments. These were the reasons why he started making and selling tacos, with the help of his two brother-in-laws. He started three years ago with their help, as they also needed money for their educations, on a corner near his home. As time passed, his regular customers starting asking for tortas and little by little they began getting ahead.
He needs a loan of $400 USD, which he will repay in six months, in order to make his business grow. He plans to modify his cart so he can provide a better level of service to his customers and increase his profits, so he can continue getting ahead along with his wife and children.
