So Chris is doing a wonderful job of dispatching the 2009 Calendar  Thumbs Up

But I am getting withdrawal symptoms - even if my calendars are waiting in the porch I won't get back to get them up for another couple of weeks  Cry

Please use this thread to post pictures of your 2009 Kiva Calendar taking pride of place in your home, office, car, boat, shed, well wherever you hang your calendar...

C

PS I will post a photo of mine when I get home.
PPS if you want to see pictures of the quilt check out the raggle.

hmmm  anyone else have a camera?

Well, she was absolutely amazed that we came up with such a great calendar.  Again she remarked at the excellent quality and the photos and stories with each. She said "this is all I'm giving out this Christmas"....ummmm.. I had to make sure what she was talking about!  Laugh

Henry's  very proud Mother learning about KIVA!

Thanks-she's a good gal, i'll keep her.  I think she looked so good cause she was about to be taken to Costco for an outing!  Smiley  She won't go by herself and to get us to go with her ....  well....  you need 2 trucks when she's finished buying stuff that ends up in a closet or panty and then gets thrown away!  she's crazy!

i'll have to correct colette - OUR project!!!

 Tada

We received our calendars today and the quality is absolutely fantastic!!! Great job everybody!  I can hardly wait to start handing them out!  It's a great way to introduce people to KIVA.

I wonder if my parents will have a "similar" look as Henry's mom when I send them a calendar!  Thumbs Up

Henry is correct that it was a group effort.  He was the mastermind behind the quilt and then begged, cajoled or coerced a bunch of people to take up stitching squares.  Then the whole calendar fiasco meant that the quilt squares were drafted for the 2009 calendar.  With the usual suspects for the calendar team...

I remember differently, I think it was a group effort and everyone did their part!!  But thanks for the memories Colette!

Putty and Chester both said:  well, they didn't - but I think they approved!
