Pretty cool presentation on the changing social climate of the world (developing world vs. Western world) over time:



The professor's presentation is very good, and the software he uses is really awesome.  You can play with the software over at Google.

Actually, I did go to Gapminder.org and I think you can find TONS of cool data there. Also, try out http://tools.google.com/gapminder/ to use the Gapminder tools to figure out poverty in the world and its effects, in a way that make it speak more to you.

Cool, really extremely cool! Never knew that statistics could be that cool. (Julia-- this is one for you Smiley )
