That is very cool!  I hope we get to see something like that on Suzan Hamoudeh from Gaza(http://partners.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=75902)

The number of defaulted loans has dropped from 1830 (last night) to 1828 (at the moment), so it looks like only two have been "corrected".

The loans to Susan Hamoudeh and the Raheela M Asif Group in Palestine are both still showing as defaulted, but Kiva may still be chasing up to see whether they actually are defaults or not.

Liz confirmed with me late last week that the engineers were checking whether Suzan Hamoudeh's loan was actually defaulted or if there was a "human error" somewhere along the line.

Has anyone who are lenders on the Yamida loans heard anything about payments or defaults?

Eli,
not a lender, but I just checked: all 13 Yamida loans are still delinquent (but not defaulted) with no payments recorded after August 2008 (the recorded, I guess, were all auto-payments).

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.

Wonderful news:  I just received this on Suzan, so spread the word!

"This is an update on your loan to Suzan Hamoudeh in Palestine. Due to an
administrative error, this loan was accidentally set to defaulted.
Please note that the error has been corrected, and the loan will remain
active until it reaches its term."

Thanks to all who inquired and to Kiva for getting us this news!

Thank you Lynn for following up on Suzan and sharing the outcome. Her loan status has been updated to active on her loan page, too.  Smiley

Thanks Elizabeth, I didn't follow up, just received the word, but I know Diane and many others did!  I am overjoyed!

Lynn

PS--Am glad Suzan's loan page has now been updated as well.  In my excitement I had not yet checked it!
