I was poking around the Kiva Store and found the Flip Camera a couple of weeks ago. I had never heard of Flip cams!

Long story short, I got mine today and now have a favorite gadget. This thing is seriously cool.

Has anyone else gotten one of these guys? Wink

I love it. It's really easy to use, tiny enough to fit in a pocket, and takes decent video. Thumbs Up

When I found out that KIVA Fellows were being sent out on assignments with The Flip video camera, I checked out the site.  I fell in love with The Flip MinoHD and I was given one for my birthday last month.  It is extremely light, the size of a cellphone, and very easy to use.  The images are crisp and the microphone provides audio with excellent clarity.  I have yet to edit a video together, but will soon.  It stores 1 hour of material and has a built in USB connector for ease of transferring to your computer.  It comes with editing software too.  You can purchase a tripod, slipcover, and an attachment harness thing to attach to motorbikes or helmets (I dubbed it KIVAFellowView) Tongue

If you are looking for a flip camera.  check out www.theflip.com  They have many charity models, including Kiva, where $10 will be given to the charity, or share the good cameras with various different designs.  Every seven sold of these, 1 is given to a charity through www.flipvideospotlight.com

After Uniloves post I got to do a bit more digging on the camera and have seen the majority of great reviews.  Now have ordered one for me!
