I am a graduate student at Georgia Tech, designing an application that allows you to better visualize and navigate through information, so that you can discover entrepreneurs you want to fund. I just finished talking with Meekal.  It was a fun and informative interview.  He is looking to speak to several more KivaFriends and would be especially interested in hearing from a few more lenders with larger portfolios (in the 1,000-loan range or larger).  If you have 15-30 minutes to chat with him about how you make your lending choices, and tangentially about aspects of community which might affect those choices, I'd encourage you to contact him.  He's looking to complete his interviews in this next week or so.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your research and your tool, Meekal.
