Have ever lent on Kiva? Have your opinion counted and help design a new tool to make sense of all the great work that has been done by Kiva!
I am a graduate student at Georgia Tech, designing an application that allows you to better visualize and navigate through information, so that you can discover entrepreneurs you want to fund. I would like to talk to you for a short 15 minute interview, about what information you value the most, what’s useful, what’s not, what would make it even better.
More details can be found on my page at: http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~meekal/portfolio/kivabuzz.html  Please contact me at meekalbajaj (at) gatech (dot) edu and I would be happy to set up a time convenient for you.

Meekal, thank you for doing this research. I think what you are doing is great, and I thoroughly enjoyed your questions and thoughts on Kiva.

Fellow KFs: if you have a few extra minutes, please help Meekal with his research. He has many good questions and is very interested in what we are doing.

Thanks for posting and bumping this up, Leslie.  I've written to Meekal to offer my thoughts also.

I just finished talking with Meekal.  It was a fun and informative interview.  He is looking to speak to several more KivaFriends and would be especially interested in hearing from a few more lenders with larger portfolios (in the 1,000-loan range or larger).  If you have 15-30 minutes to chat with him about how you make your lending choices, and tangentially about aspects of community which might affect those choices, I'd encourage you to contact him.  He's looking to complete his interviews in this next week or so.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your research and your tool, Meekal.
