Hi everyone,

I am really sorry to leave this message (especially after reading again the wonderful welcome messages you had left here about 6 months ago), but I hope you will understand after having read my post.

I am going to resign today as moderator of this forum. This decision has nothing to do with Kiva or the Kivafriends forum but only with me - I am still happy to be a Kiva lender and I am also proud to be a member of this wonderful board of dedicated people who want to make the world a better place. But unfortunately my job and also some of the tasks I have taken over during the last months in my private life (like being now the PR officer for the German Fistula trust) have taken more and more of my time recently. As you might have noticed  Wink this has on the one hand reduced the number of posts I have made to the forum within the last months, but it has also reduced my ability to help moderate this forum.

As things are not going to get better in the near future I have therefore decided that it is time for me to step down - not an easy decision, but IMHO better for the forum - and also for me as I just hate to do things only halfhearted.   Cheesy

I am leaving you (and also me as I am of course not going to quit the forum completely) in very capable hands and I am sure that Diane, Peter, Wolfgang, Kerry and Natasha will also do a wonderful job without me.  Thumbs Up

Thank you for having let me be part of this and to learn more about Kiva and Kivafriends during the last months and all the best,
Mona

Dear Mona,

I'm so sorry to hear that you are leaving your post as moderator, though of course I fully understand the reason. Someone once said: "do fewer things better". I'm sure you will pour your heart into you other activities. And of course, we will all still benefit from your activities here at KF.

Thank you for all you do, and for being who you are.  Kiss

Ah Mona... you know we love you and know your decision was not made 'in a flash'....

I barely know how to use my computer so I have no idea - but can certainly imagine - what a job being a moderator is.

I thank you personally for all your time, good sense and friendship you have dedicated here...

thanks my Kiva Friend  Kiss
