Suggestion: Kiva & TOMS team up!

I have communicated this idea to people at TOMS shoes (you know, the one for one shoe guys) for ya'll to team up and do a KIVA pair of TOMS!!!  I think it would be wonderful.  You're both in San Fran, right?  So give them a call!!!  I've bought ten pairs of shoes and a hoodie from them and would buy a KIVA inspired pair of TOMS.  From what I've seen they collaborate with other organizations all the time!

P.S.  Just did a spell check and ya'll tried to make me spell "ya'll" as "y'all".  I am from Alabama and can attest to the fact that it is indeed "ya'll".  Get on it, guys!

thank you for this suggestion - I think Kiva would be interested to learn about it. Why not mail them at contactus@kiva.org ?

KF is primarily a forum of lenders (or "for lenders - by lenders"); many Kiva staffers do read KF regularly and might read this post, but there is no guarantee of that.

TOMS is a shoe manufacturer with more of a social enterprise bent.  For each pair of TOMS shoes purchased, a pair is donated to an underprivileged child.
