lol - I noticed that too! I first counted them up about a month ago, there was about 400 something at that time!

 Uh oh - You made me check my loan portfolio and count. I'd been trying to avoid it. Apparently my obsession has led to 103 loans (+ one that doesn't count because it was returned instead of dispersed). So, Julia, I'm in your ballpark...... and I only heard of Kiva in February. Hope I'll slow down a bit when the things start returning. Have to admit, though, that when that one loan was returned because the borrower had moved away, I immediately reinvested it.... and added two new ones.

Actually, Kay, I hope I can remember how to turn on my TV. I haven't done it for more than two years. If you got an HDTV, you might remember! Unfortunately, though, ABC News is not in hi def! |

Hey, Kay - a PS: WOW! Checked out your lender page. You're definitely farther gone than I am! (I must admit, I got tired of counting. What's the total?) Hi Glenda, I don't make a count very often, since it makes me dizzy! (Maybe I need to ask Jeremy to add a "counter" to the lender pages!) However, my total as of now is 577, but "only" 572 of those are "active," since 5 loans have "ended" or been paid back. So, "nearly 600" is definitely an exaggeration! Kay |
