yea, I just looked to see if maybe I had linked to the wrong page.  I hadn't.  They changed it.  I took screen shots of the pages they had posted.

I don't think any of us here will get into gumball capital? prior to supporting them, I would expect an explanation of what happened.  If anyone did invest in them and ever needs copies of these screen pages I have, I'll be happy to provide them.

But apparently they read here, or someone does, because it was only changed/fixed after my post.

Hey Richard,

I don't think this German group is already in Kivapedia: http://www.kiva.org/lender/cleverspenden
Group: http://www.kiva.org/lender/morganstanleypif
Group: http://www.kiva.org/lender/john5247
Group: http://www.kiva.org/lender/karen1639
Business: http://www.kiva.org/lender/theredwoodsgroup6420

If you explain to me how to add them to Kivapedia, I can do that myself next time, too.

Oli

First, register there so you can edit.  Then, try the "monkey-see-monkey-do method" - copy-and-paste a section then replace the specifics with your info (that's what I do).  If something needs fixing up, QoH can lend a hand.  Wink

As a result of yesterdays questionable post...

With the potential to scam money by associating something (a group or website) with KIVA would it be possible to create a 'sponsored KIVA Group/website' stamp that will be placed on a groups page when that group sets up a type of account that can not ever withdraw money?  If the account becomes inactive for any reason, the money is donated into KIVA.

food for thought or discussion

Found this group / project http://www.kiva.org/lender/kivab4b3832

Could you please add it to the group page? I would learn how to do it myself if I wouldn't be heading out on a business trip in 15 minutes.

Thanks,
Ulli

My Women's Studies class at Fairfield University has formed a group entitled Sustainable Equity for Women (SEW).  We have raised over $1000 and want to donate it through Kiva.  We are interested in becoming one of the College groups on the Kivapedia page but are unsure about the process.  We have a bank account and an account manager so could you help explain the process we would all really appreciate it.  Thanks so much!
