How about adding a "PM" feature to lender pages?  If you don't want to go for that, just add a link to Kiva Friends (and their user page) on the lender setup page so "everyone" signs up and we can just Pm ourselves from here!  Cheesy

yeah, that would be really cool. It would involve also adding some PM settings to the account, where I'd like to choose between:
- Email any incoming PM to my account
- Don't email them

Also, there would be a number of UI changes needed, most of which could probably be done by integrating an existing PM software package into this.

Thinking about it... it's probably quite a major change.... but it would be very good to have!

Currently I'm looking into getting a full license for Invision Power Boards donated to KF. It is a vastly more powerful basic system then SMF. If the company wont donate maybe we can chip-in and pay for a license for KF. On a side note, the community building features are very good.  Cool
