Oooh thanks.

While I was trying unsuccessfully to get sleepy last night,
I did a cut and paste job with my Keynote program,
but so far all I've done is put all my active loans on
several pages -- haven't shrunk them down, just
put three or four to a page -- and then put one on
every page. It was something to do. I didn't even
know I *had* those programs. Fun.

When I called those "collages" I made, "mosaics," I really had a different image in my mind that made sense to me.  Maybe, some day, someone will be able to create a worthy photo mosaic out of Kiva entrepreneur images.

In the meantime, just imagine what I meant I said! Smiley

I thought this picture was beautiful, like a painting. Perhaps it is why it was funded so quickly?

I thought about posting this photo earlier, but wasn't sure where to put it.  Perhaps the film was poorly exposed or just taken in strange lighting conditions, but the effect, especially on the woman's face, made it look rather picturesque - as you say, like a painting.

Must say, I love your pic even more, though.  Something about the lighting on the man's face like that, & that back wall is very striking.

Lately, all the pics from TYM have this strange effect. Don't know what it is but it has been consistent.

When a picture looks like that, it was saved at one point as a "gif" format with 256 colors or so.  The color detail is lost from what it would have been in an image format like "jpg."
