Hi Everyone,

I'm writing to share some bittersweet news.  I accepted a spot at University of Michigan's Ph.D. Program in American Culture.  That means that next week is my last week working at Kiva, as I'll be a full-time student in August.

Rest assured that Kiva will be adding a new member to the customer service team soon, and Gerard plans to maintain the KivaFriends Liaison Program.  Of course, I’ll be looking for ways to continue my involvement and spread the word about Kiva in Michigan.  I also plan to keep in touch with all of you on this forum.   That all means things shouldn't change too much.

If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.  I've enjoyed getting to know you all over the past two years, and I really respect the time and effort everyone here has invested in promoting and improving Kiva.  Kiva wouldn't be the same without you!

I'll miss working with you.

I've copied Liz's announcement to a public area of KivaFriends where we can all post our farewells and best wishes.  Please join me there.

Farewell to Liz
