Halle has created a
new site where users can go if they wish to get support for any of the 3rd-party apps written using the API.
She has added all (??) the apps currently in existence as "products" and has asked each of the developers to create a user account so that they can answer any questions posed regarding their applications.
Although I have created an account, and sent her the details, I have told her that I would prefer not to be displayed as a Kiva "employee" as it would create the wrong impression in many people's minds and would undoubtedly cause me to breach (at least in spirit) the API Code of Conduct which says, in part:
5. Be your own brand
We're excited that you want to help us build applications and experiences for the Kiva community, but we do ask that you maintain your own brand. This means users should understand that your products are yours alone and not owned or operated by Kiva. You can use the Kiva logo or color scheme within reason for purposes of associating the content with Kiva, just don't call your application "Kiva Mobile." A name like "Mobile Loaner" might be more appropriate.
Halle is currently trying to work out with the website providers how to get around the problem of having 3rd-party official representatives (and she may even have to talk to Kiva's legal people) so don't be surprised that I am not yet displayed as one of the reps - it's my choice. But, as far as I can see, it wouldn't stop me from answering questions anyway.

P.S. Trivia question - What do the names of all the apps currently in existence have in common?
(What makes me think that I am the only person who has given the Code of Conduct even a glance.
