Hope this is the right place for this post,
As mentioned in my intro, I'm an indie game developer; I create games with a small team of friends and sell them online through digital download. 15% of sales of my game are invested into Kiva, as mentioned here:
-
http://studioeres.com/immortal/buy (the game is a tower defense game, you can see a video of it here:)
A few other indie game developers do this as well:
-
http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=3645.0 (1$ for each game sold)
-
http://positech.co.uk/cliffsblog/?p=247 (no set amount, but he loans regularly)
-
http://www.gamesocks.com/ (no set amount, but biggest lender on the team)
-
http://autofish.net/video_games/creation/game_maker/gmprojects.html (he makes free games but loans to kiva with money earned through his day job
-
http://www.glumbuster.com/ (same as bove)
- other's I'm sure I'm missing
And here's our team (currently at $6250 loaned total):
