Is there any way to tell whether an MFI has made all of their repayments? We did a big team lend to Fadi (http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=105025) last month, and I haven't seen a repayment yet.

It would be just my luck to choose one of the loans that doesn't get paid back for our team...

Hi Jeremy,

This loan is a tad complicated.  I hope my explanation makes sense.

The first payment for this loan was on May 27th.  Normally, we would have billed this on June 15th and it would have been credited to lenders soon after.

However, the loan didn't get fully funded until July 2nd.  Since the loan didn't fund until July, it rolled over into our July billing period.  On August 15th , we will credit Al Majmoua for this loan, as well as invoice them for the May, June, and July repayments.  All repayments will be due back to Kiva lenders by September 1st.  Al Majmoua is a great partner and I would expect (but obviously can't promise) all three payments to be credit back to lenders shortly after billing on August 15th.

We can't very well ask partners for repayments before we send them the cash  Grin

Unfortunately, the repayment table doesn't look to be updating properly to reflect the date this loan funded.  We'll take a look at that first thing in the morning.

Sorry for the confusion, and I hope my explanation didn't add to it.

-Jonathan

ps - in other news, we just broke through $3.64 million in credits returned today.  Our biggest credit day yet!

My experience with al majouma is very good I send them once a mail and within 3 hours they answered me. After 2 weeks again they send me a mail to ask if there answer was good enough and that Kiva promissed them to get in touch with me. Kiva never did but they did twice. Now they have also a lending team of themselves not much happening there but it is still very new. So do'nt worry
