Marcelina is a member of the Amor Divino Microfinance Institute.

She is a 60-year-old married mother with 5 children. She runs a stand at the Grau Market in which she sells a variety of grains. She buys these products at other markets, and people sell them to her at her stand as well.

Macelina needs a 1,500.00 PEN loan, which she will invest in purchasing cheese, garbanzo beans, and barley.

Marcelina dreams of seeing her son obtain a degree and of improving her business.

HAT LOAN!!!!!!!!  Man making and selling hats!!  Hat Wave

Name: Marcial Gimenez
Location:  Paraguay
Primary Activity:  Sewing

Marcal is 65, is married to Delia, 62, and they have 7 grown children, five of which serve in the Paraguyan Army.  Before, the couple was dedicated to selling food, but later with the help and orientation of some relatives they invested in the clothing industry. After a while they started to work in making hats in which today they count on a large, established clientele, the majority of which are large businesses which ask for large quantities of hats for their employees or to give to their customers.
They would like to move forward with a factory with better commodities and new machines. In this occasion they are asking for a loan to buy needles, threads and other elements.
(Currency risk - covered)
