You can indeed still order some!  Ordering happens here (http://www.kivastore.org/order.php?item=k003), and shipments will start again Monday.

WaHoo! Got my order in now, too. Thank you Liliane. I knew there was something niggling at the back of my brain.  Smiley I more thing to scratch off my To-do list.

We gave all of our first pre-order out to our clients and just had to order another 10.  They are great. Drinks

It's about that time in December when I announce that the number of shipping days until Christmas is dwindling.

There are still plenty of calendars left, but if you want one to give as a gift on Christmas Day, you'd better act fast!  The Postal Service doesn't guarantee delivery time (except for Express mail), but Wednesday is probably the last day to order if you want delivery by Christmas Eve.  For anyone -- including those outside the United States -- who would like to pay extra for Priority or Express service, contact me and we'll work out arrangements.  I will be shipping right up until Christmas Day.  Then taking a break.  Then shipping again (-:

I was CC'd on an email to Karen and Gary today from John Briggs, a kiva fellow that was in Kenya and is now back there for a short visit.  I thought you would enjoy the email and picture.

Quote
Dear Karen and Gery,

I'm back in Kenya for a bit and visited the KADET head office today.  I just wanted to let you know that two of the calendars you brought are now bound for Mombasa.  One will go to the branch, whose staff all do Kiva-related work.  The other one will be delivered to Dogo Ramadhan, the KADET client who's featured in the calendar.

Attached is a photo of Alice, KADET's Kiva Coordinator, handing the calendar to Ebenezer, the Mombasa branch manager.  I've CC'd Charmaine Pettersen, the Kiva Friend who worked so hard to create the calendars, so she has an idea of what kinds of places the Kiva calendars are finding their way to.

Happy holidays and all the best in the New Year!

-John

I thought I would add this picture of us when we visited the KADET office.  It was such fun to see the MFI and meet with the folks that work with the borrowers.  Karen and Gery
