Version 2.02

I have just updated the spreadsheet and attached it to the first post in this thread.

This version correctly caters for the new "Expired" status.

Needless to say, the latest set of changes that Kiva have implemented (mainly the change to the transaction export file) have caused the Summary Spreadsheet to no longer work correctly.

I'll try to get a fix out later today.

Version 2.03

I have just updated the spreadsheet and attached it to the first post in this thread.

This version allows for the changes that Kiva has recently introduced in the transaction export file:
  • Heading changed from "Date" to "Date / Time (PST)" - which meant the macros didn't know which column to find the transaction date in
  • Transaction dates now include the time of day - which shouldn't affect people whose computers understand "English" months and date formats, but I suspect our German and French friends would see the macros die in a spectacular fashion

If anyone finds any other changes that Kiva has introduced, please let me know.  (Oh how I wish there were release notes published when changes are made!!!)

Now when I click on "obtain a transaction export file from kiva" on any version it is saying "page not found".

there appears to be a new tab on my profile.
My credit..Under which is overview (transactions), Repayment Settings (decide what to do with repayments) and the new Auto Lending Settings.

Transaction export just worked for me (I use IE6), although it still is trying to download it with a filename of "app".  (I guess I only reported that one about 6 months ago, so I need to be a bit more patient.)

Version 2.04

I have just updated the spreadsheet and attached it to the first post in this thread.

Sorry, I didn't read that comment correctly - I was thinking originally that you meant that the export from the actual Kiva webpage wasn't working (which is something that has happened in the past) but you must have been referring to the link to that export from within the spreadsheet (which I had forgotten even existed, because I personally usually do the extract from Kiva's webpage).

It looks like Kiva has changed the "address" of the export file, so I have uploaded a new version that has a minor change to fix the link in the spreadsheet so that it points to the new location.

Ian,

is it possible that you changed the treatment of "Manual" transactions at some point between v2.01 and v2.04? It now states that they are ignored in all but the Summary tab, and they (or the one I have) show(s) up there, now, as "unrecognised transaction(s)".

That is great unless and until the lender makes use of the "My extra transactions" tab to attribute "manual" transactions to one of the transaction categories and possibly to certain loans. In that case, the "manual" transactions now throw the Summary tab off balance by featuring twice.

Is there any functionality to tell the macro that certain "manual" transactions have been fixed by the user and mustn't be considered for the summary?

Thanks - as always - and best wishes,
Wolfgang.

None of my loans from Finca Peru are registering on the "loans" tab as such.  But only "unknown partner"

Thanks, Charmaine!

Strange, I don't have this problem. What about the "Stats" tab? Does it show Finca loans correctly?

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.
