There may already be a place for this, but I couldn’t find it, so please move this post, moderators, if there is a better place for this…

I could private message this directly to Jan, but I wanted to say a public thank you to Kiva Friends Jan & John  http://www.kivafriends.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2421
so that everyone can know the positive influence she has had on me.

From the earliest, when I joined Kiva Friends, Jan inspired me with her positive and supporting comments on the Kiva Fellows blog.  It encouraged me to post comments too, in turn encouraging the Kiva Fellows.  The Fellows responded with an appreciative thank you on the Kiva Blog From the Field at http://fellowsblog.kiva.org/2009/05/08/the-kiva-tlm-calendar/  and to their supporting comments to me on my personal blog post to highlight the Fellows efforts.

As SuperFellow Kieran Ball wrote in his post above: "In between their time grandparenting, lending on Kiva, chatting on Kiva Friends.org and driving the school bus (John), they find time to read and comment on almost every blog written by the Kiva Fellows. Their comments are consistently supportive, positive, and uplifting, and I’m sure have provided much-welcomed comfort for many blogging Fellows."

Because of Jan, I have become a Kiva Fellows fan, and I find their selfless efforts to help others around the world so inspiring.  So, it’s all Jan’s fault I am a Kiva Fellows fan...

Smiley

Thank you for letting me share...

Lisa

EDIT: trying (and failing) to fix the KF link on Jan...

 Laugh  Jan's fault...

and I've been blaming my addiction on Kiva Friends...

A couple of years ago, Lynn coined a term "KivaNut", haven't heard from Lynn in a while but I try to keep up my end...

love you too, Lisa  Friends
