Hello -
I want to reloan the cash I have in my account.
I am confused with your accounting.
"My Loan Stats" show I have $358.33 available to lend.
"My Loans" breakdown show I have been repaid $358.33.
But on "My Portfolio" main page in the upper right hand box says: "Available Kiva Credit" is $258.33!
What happened to the missing $100?
Coach Bob
G'day Coach Bob,
a) I'm not sure where you are seeing the "My Loans Stats" figure
b) I'm guessing that the "'My Loans' breakdown" means you have added up all the repaid amounts from each of your loans on the "My Loans" page(s), which doesn't allow for the fact that you may have already used some of your credits to make other loans.
The best way to work out how the $258.33 in available credit has been determined is to look at your "My Transactions" pages, which give details of every transaction applied to your account, with a running balance which will (or, at least,
should) finish at the $258.33 figure.
Look through those transactions and, if you see anything amiss, try emailing Kiva - they are usually pretty good at fixing things if there actually is an error.
Regards,
Ian
P.S. If there is something that doesn't look right in your transactions, but you aren't really sure, and you don't want to bug the Kiva staff until you are sure - then feel free to post another message and we will do all we can to help you work out what's going on. (But limited in what we can do because only the actual user can see their "My Account" pages.)
Edit: to fix typo(s)
