I am new to Kiva Friends, so please forgive me if my question has an obvious answer that I have overlooked.  I can't find a basic Facebook page for Kiva.  The only Facebook page I find is an application that posts say doesn't work.

Shouldn't Kiva have just a basic group page as a non-profit?  They aren't hard to develop.  This would allow Kiva users to posts links to Kiva on their Facebook pages.  These links would be free advertising to all of the Facebook friends of those Kiva users.

Hello - and welcome to Kivafriends!

Mona - Thank you for your quick response.  I thought there must be Kiva-related pages on Facebook.  But, I am troubled as to why none of these came up when I used the Facebook search function.  They still don't come up for me when I try to search for them on Facebook.

And, I don't know why, but the "group" link that you provided in your response doesn't work for me.  The "cause" link did.

And, the "cause" page doesn't seem to have a link to the "group" page. Shouldn't it have links to all other important Kiva Facebook pages?  I guess that is one complaint I have about Facebook - that it is too fractured, without enough cohesiveness.  I think Kiva could help address this by making sure all of its pages have links to each other.

Thanks again.  I will keep trying to get to the Kiva group Facebook page.

Hm, no idea why the link does not work. However, the easiest thing would be to just type Kiva in the small search window you have on your profile page (just next to "Your name" "Settings" "Logout" in the blue part). They (and some more) should all show up then. And yes, it is a bit complicated to navigate and find all info. I think the most important site is the "people" one as news posted there will show up also in your news feed so you won't miss them.
