... when I see 3 or 4 loans with the same background and different people in the photo requesting a loan, I hesitate on that one also.
When I see that, I figure that the photos were taken at the MFI loan office, where the clients came to sign paperwork or receive training or counseling. Rather than follow them back to their home or business location, someone just asked them to step outside for a photograph. But yeah, it doesn't actually give lenders a sense of what the client's business might be about. You just have to hope in those cases that the person who wrote up the description did a good job.
