Greetings:
The cause-advocacy organization Avaaz (
http://www.avaaz.org/en/) may be of interest to some people in the Kiva community. One of their current campaigns is a petition drive towards ending world hunger. The petitions are to be delivered to world leaders before/at the World Summit on Food Security, November 16-18, 2009, Rome, Italy.
If you click on their “End the Hunger Scandal”, you have a chance to sign the petition. You may also want to look at the “Sources” links, which I have copied from their “Tell your Friends/Your Personal Message” (Avaaz’s section is text-only, I hope these copied links are active.)
