Everyone uses money. Why not make your money spread the word about Kiva. Write a brief message in red ink about Kiva around the edges of the note eg. 'Kiva.org - loans that change lives'. Please be aware that this is only a hypothetical suggestion as I believe it is illegal to deface bank notes in most countries. However, I also understand that the practical difficulty of identifying the perpetrator makes the law irrelevant in most instances – unless of course you write your name and phone number on it!!

I dig your style mike. It's all about incentive for the website quiz one.  Once Kiva can guarantee a return for people, this idea will landslide.  Until then, writing on cash sounds like a great way for this to gain attention.  It's got my vote but I'm also poor, which means not many billz that get out there.

Mike,

I would not recommend doing something that is technically probably not allowed without talking to Kiva.  Putting Kiva's name out there in a questionable way reflects on Kiva.
