Hi, the 5 winners of "Phase 1" have been named, and their videos have been published on Tongal's website: 1st place ($3,500) – Erik Andersson, “The Pedro Story”2nd place ($1,500) – Andre Ferreira, “You Too Can Help”3rd place ($1,000) – Kieran Ball, “From Desk to Door: Kiva’s Microloan Delivery Service”4th place ($750) – Shelley Cryan, “Change a Life with a Kiva Loan”5th place ($500) – Andrew Huffaker, “Kiva – Loans That Change Lives”All in all, great contributions IMHO, though I think that the jury of Kiva staffers (Gerard, Premal, Matt and Chelsa) were probably a little biased when only awarding 3rd place to former Kiva Fellow Kieran Ball (trying to be particularly "impartial"), and I have to admit that I quite like the contribution by Andrew Huffaker and would have ranked it rather higher than 5th place. Best wishes, Wolfgang.

I agree with you Wolfgang that Kieran Ball managed to catch a wave in his contribution that the others did not - and a very useful one at that. If I was on the jury I guess I would have the problem of to many 1.st prices Be well, Dagfinn A

On the Tongal site there really isn't any way to vote for an entry is there? Most views is not a vote since you obviously can't consider one properly without viewing it... It might be good to have a vote here.

Is it just my computer?
because I find these videos really slow to load and they stop periodically while running...
it's probably only 4 or 5 seconds each time... but I find it really annoying to spend 4 minutes watching a 2 minute video ... so I didn't watch many of them when this topic was first posted.
I don't have this problem with youtube or vimeo. I watched the whole of the Queen's message without any problem at all.
sigh jan

Jan, they were really slow to load and frustrating for me too. I was thinking maybe I needed to upgrade my dsl but it sounds like I'm not the only one. I had to start them so they would begin loading, and then pause them until they were completely loaded, then watch.

Most viewed phase of the contest can be found here . This runs through Jan. 31, 2010. It is the amount of times viewed, that is your vote.
