Dear Dottie,

Here is the link to the thread on this.

Here is the link to lendsteam.

You can watch loans as they are being made.  It is  interesting to watch.  Matt was the one who posted and I think he started a new addiction for some.
One thing that I have found is if I have it open, it sometimes slows down your computer's response time.

At nine this morning (my time) all kinds of companies suddenly started to loan so I really think they started auto lending at midnight.

That we are running out of loans was a joke but I think it will happen very soon.

Carien

Here are some interesting numbers.  Jan. 1 - 15, 2009 we lent $1.8M (the whole month was $3.4M).
Jan. 1 - 15, 2010 we lent $2.6M (approx 45% increase).

Lending for Nov. '09 was approx. $5.3M and Dec. '09 was $7.0M

I would say that Kiva needs to get a whole lot of loans into the system NOW, if they expect to maintain these types of increases.

There's only 35 loans left Shocked

(All borrowers left are males Scratch Head)

I wonder how many loans have been submitted by MFIs and have not yet been released because the MFI has reached its quota, maybe Kiva will release some of them before Jan 1st when the quota is reset or maybe they will increase the MFIs quota.

I hope we don't reach 0 loans left, although it would mean that we won't see any loans expire, it also means that there are lives that could be changed but they will miss out.

Kiva had approx. $589,750 in loans yesterday. Surely, one of the largest lending days for Kiva.

Hopefully they have tons of new loans ready to post on Monday.

Trying to be patient with money to lend!!
