Or, What to Do If You've Discovered That You Still Have Three Seconds Left in Your Day That You
Haven't Already Given Over to Your Kiva Addiction....

Or,   Potential Sources Of Great Material for Kiva Promoters Huh?

     Hey, Kiddies,
I've been trying to wean myself away from time scarfed up by allthingsKiva
NOT find additional ways to feed the "monster".

That said, here are a couple of thoughts inspired by your game suggestions (Kiva Friends' Game Suggestions that I found at the following Kiva Lounge Links):

http://www.kivafriends.org/index.php/topic,486.0.html
http://www.kivafriends.org/index.php/topic,487.0.html
http://www.kivafriends.org/index.php/topic,491.0.html

First, is there a way to make a "Big Category" for games like you're suggesting so they'll be easily identifiable, "findable," and so they won't disappear into Topics obscurity as new entries demand their time in the sun?

      Second, maybe another "game."
      or.....
something related to the WORK of both Kiva Entrpreneurs and Kiva Lenders.

site:kiva.org/lender/
If you take the above, then hit the space bar, then add a plus sign (+), then type in almost any kind of work you can think of, it's pretty interesting to peruse the baubles in the Kiva Lender treasure chest.  For instance, in an insomniac super early morning bounty of free time, I  checked out the following:

site:kiva.org/lender/ +musician
                                 +biologist
                                 +conductor
                                 +scientist
                                 (and +author, +singer, +actor, +truck, +military, +judge,
                                +psychiatrist, +pastor, +rabbi, +peace, etc. etc. etc.).

There are "millions" of +teacher, +doctor (+physician), +lawyer(+attorney).

Another "game" can focus on a continuing search for unusual, creative or amazing ways some of the entrepreneurs (and another for ways Kiva Lenders) have found to make a living, almost necessarily including the "poison guy from Tajikistan" I mentioned in another entry.

One more could center on Lender "I Loan Because" responses (the most inspirational, the most touching, the most unusual, the most political, whatever).

It's now just past 7:30 in the morning, my time.  I needed to get up a long time ago....
Sigh.

I thought you'd never ask!  Tongue

p.s. That's how I find all the Kiva Group Lenders (although you don't need to add the "+").  Wink

"I'm Back!"

I forgot to tell you, when I was checking out Kiva Lenders (for those of you who may have missed it), I came across the following which got me to thinking about the Lender game:

"About me:, I am a semi-retired nuclear scientist and a full time writer of Native American novels.
Member Since:, Jun 6, 2007 ...
www.kiva.org/lender/michael11079343    "

I thought that that was pretty fun.

Turns out there are a bunch of opera singer lenders, too, which I also think is quite neat.

   Bye.
