I’m going to be really surprised if this thread takes off.  If it doesn’t, it won’t be the first thread I’ve started that died a quiet anonymous death almost as soon as I’d started it.  And, that’s all right.

What got me to thinking about this is that every once in awhile, either I see something in one of the Entrepreneur’s photos or I read something in the description that generates a pretty “out there” response in me.  Almost at the same time that I have these unbrilliant thoughts, the realization strikes that they are pretty unbrilliant, but sometimes, besides striking me as not real bright, they also strike me as almost kind of “funny.”  I don’t know if any of you ever has an experience like that or not.

The reason I thought about all this, right now, is because I was just looking at some of the most recent loans I made, (actually, I made them today), and one of the for absolute sure reasons I made two of these loans was because I really loved the smiles of the women brightening up their pages.  Yes, I am more shallow than I wish I were.

In any event, the thought that just went through my mind that inspired this thread was something like:  Hmmm-mm, maybe if the entrepreneurs are smiling so broadly, maybe they couldn’t possibly be hurting as much, maybe they don’t need my loans nearly so much as those entrepreneurs whose facial expressions are either dour, at best, or who look like the very last thing they feel like doing, given, presumably, their life situations, is smile.

Anyway, please remember the name of this thread, particularly the first word in it, before you get irritated and
rush to post how outrageous my last statement was.

EDIT: One other example of what I'm talking about can be found here, where I couldn't completely divest my brain of the thought about what a superlative job Hollywood costumers had done with that particular entrepreneur.

I think it pretty cool they are smiling. Some people look like they are being pressured to take a photo. I think if I was an entrepreneur hoping to get approved to receive a loan. I'd walk on my head if I could smiling and clapping my hands. But that's just my thought. It also makes me wonder if the photographer tell the people to look real sad it will help you get funded.  Piggy Bank
