Refunds

Hello Kiva Friends!

I love Kiva and what is being done through this community and website.

I also have a very down-to-earth, practical question for more experienced Kiva users:

What happens when a given project does not reach its funding objective? I assume lenders just get a refund at the end of the listing. The answer to that question was not particularly easy to find on the website (maybe my fault...).

Anyway, thanks for letting me (and possibly other Kiva users) know!

Hi Greg,

exactly - lenders who committed funds to expired loans receive a refund.

I think it's somewhere in the Help Center on kiva.org (it has been for sure), too, maybe I will look and post a link later.
