yes, KSC gets the money, however, i can never apply it to your name so you will never get on the pick or pass listing.  Better unclick it! get a bogus yahoo or something email for IGive, that's what most do.

eh, you mean I don't get to pick a loan?  I don't care about that so much...I'm just jazzed that I can shop for things I HAVE to buy (socks, toothpaste, shampoo, etc etc) and money STILL gets to Kiva loans.

no, I did NOT buy anything at Victoria's Secret, in case you lurkers were wondering... Laugh

(several days later)

Thanks to Henry and Margie, Nonny the Occasionally Dense has successfully located the LOGOUT button on iGive.com!   Thumbs Up

Since I have no more money to loan, it has been a real pleasure training myself to check iGive every time I need to buy something.  Drugstore.com has been especially useful (thanks Henry!).  I've used Sephora.com for a couple of years (no more getting mauled at the mall!), and just about every piece of clothing and bedding I own is from Lands' End.  In fact, everything I'm wearing right now is from there!

Alas, as a longtime Netflix customer, I see I cannot score money for KSC unless I open a new account.  I will have to apply my devious mind to working around that one.

Onward!   Grin

Wish I read that earlier Danali, I just bought something at Amazon only a few hours ago. (Namely 2 copies of Three Cups of Tea to give away. I finally started reading the book myself, and you all have said nothing to much, what an inspiring story! The virus of wanting to spread it also caught me, so I ordered one for my sister and one for a friend Grin)

There is a 2% donation for KSC, but it won't count towards your account:

Quote
Your cause receives 2.0% of today's purchase at Amazon.com, when you shop through iGive.com.

The following rules and donation restrictions apply:

Amazon earnings will benefit your cause, but they will NOT appear in your personal earnings reports or your personal fundraising totals.
1% Donation on Electronics, Audio/Visual, & Camera/Photo.
Maximum $12.50 donation on all personal computers (including desktops, notebooks & laptops).
No donation on the purchase of gift certificates.
