Good perspective, Glenda. It's important to point that out more often than just once.

Here's a guy paying back one loan http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=5179,

and now he's asking for a second loan http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=19153.

I've e-mailed Kiva about this.

Yes, I was quite surprised to see this.  (I happened to remember the red scale and the name, for some reason--probably because it took him weeks to get funded the first time. Undecided)

On page 3:

Jundee -

I don't think those are double listings, as the two businesses have the same ID numbers both times you cite them.

I think you've just happened to see them on different pages.  Sometimes depending on how you have the listings sorted a business you see on one page appears again on the next page of listings.

I've found that sorting by loan amount tends to be the most reliable way of paging through available loans without seeing the same loan crop up twice on successive pages.

I should've said duplicate listings. They were both on "Old to New".

I checked "Loan Amounts" & there was only one listing.

So I shall stick with that heading in the future.

Thanks for the tip.

Two loans - same picture

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=18956

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=20610

We helped fund the first loan, but the picture matches the second description.

Looks like the field rep got the pictures mixed up.

Different names, descriptions & lenders between the two.

You can notify kiva by sending the links to them at kivacontactus@gmail.com
