Hi folks,
I've had a browse and couldn't find mention of this idea. Apologies if I missed it.

Just thought I'd see what people think about the idea of being able to have your Kiva account automatically credited each month. I got a pay rise recently and decided to lend $100 a month, but it would be all too easy to spend the money elsewhere, or forget altogether. If Kiva allowed me to have my account automatically credit each month (and a reminder email sent to me) I'd almost certainly lend more. I'm probably asking the wrong people, as you wouldn't be reading this if you weren't already Kiva enthusiasts (and thus wouldn't need such functionality to push you to lend), but do you think for newer/less enthusiastic users it would be a worthwhile feature?

Cheers. :-)

Dave.

That's a great IDEA 8-Dave. KIVA Should offer that  !!!   in the meantime....I wonder if PayPal has a feature like that could do that, or if the bank can set up an auto draft.  I'd be interested in that as well, ....ummm...once Jaguar credit finishes draining it!

Thanks. :-)  I did email Kiva, and got a positive email back from Premal Shah, and one of their other staff. I'm sure Paypal will be capable of this kind of functionality... Not like they're a small service, and I have plenty of subscriptions to services that come off my card every month. Fingers crossed they will develop it and save me having to remind myself.
