How did that tie in with Kiva?

They recommended lending via Kiva to soothe your guilty conscience (and not to download pirated music again).

From a woman in the office in April 2007.  (I see my anniversary is coming up, as I made my first loan on April 11 that year.)  We were part of the company's community outreach committee.  Later that year, the company set up a Kiva membership and put in $5k to make loans; that money's still there, still working.
