I've just had my first loan repaid; in short order I might add!  My question is how do I re-loan the funds?  In my portfolio I have a box showing "Available Kiva credit" and two active links. One says "Withdraw" and the other says "Donate to Kiva". I'm looking for the box that lets me re-loan the funds.  It seems like the "Donate to Kiva" box would do just that, and I'd like to see it go back to work in the form of another loan.

Any help?

you will select your loan you'd like to fund, then when you go to checkout, there is an option "use availabe KIVA credit"  I think it says.  But the Donate to KIVA will do just that, Donate it to KIVA, gone poof!  If you wish to fund another loan, do it as usual, but when you get to the next screen you will see the button.

Seems alot of us were on that loan that you got repaid on. or is it refunded?  Cheesy

Hi ron1945!  If you choose "Donate", the money will go to Kiva as a donation.  If instead you want to reloan, first find the loan(s) you're interested in supporting and click on them to add them to your basket.  Then when you go to check out, as long as the total does not exceed your credit, you'll be given an option to "Pay With Kiva Credit" or to use Paypal.  If you select paying by credit, it will immediately deduct the total from your credit balance rather than go through the Paypal process.

Hope that helps, and congrats on the repaid loan!

I also just got my first repayment!  I jumped on a one month loan when it came up and one month later.. here I am being all excited that I have more money to loan again!

I just wish I had enough money to put more and more loans out there so I can feel like this every morning when I wake up and got that email that said I'd received my money back.  Little kid waking up on Christmas morning feeling....

Hopefully my credit will appear soon so I can get started giving it away again Smiley

Congratulations, JCole!  Isn't it a great feeling?  I've found it can take up to 3 workdays to see credits, but they'll be available soon.  Enjoy!
