Is anyone aware of financing going on for the above?
I watched a show Jimmy's Global Harvesthttp://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00qg54h on this new technique in Kenya, and read an article that someone is financing small farmers to buy these.
Does Kiva have a special group dealing with this,as I would like to lend in this direction.
Cheers

Here also is a video about a similar program in Tanzania:

Aside.....

I tried to look at your link but it says not available in your area.

BBC iPlayer videos cannot be viewed in North America, the licensing is only for UK.  Your access is allowed or denied based on your IP.

From the BBC website:

Can I use BBC iPlayer outside the UK?

Rights agreements mean that BBC iPlayer television programmes are only available to users to download or stream (Click to Play) in the UK. However, we are aware of demand for an international version.

The MFI partners Kiva work with decide which businesses are placed on Kiva.  An MFI can apply to work with Kiva, and this would be another way to bring this concept ahead.  Kiva would qualify the potential partners.
