Hey Kiva Friends!
We're working on a project to help French speaking people learn about and use Kiva and for this project we are creating a richer version of the traditional lender/borrower diagram that helps explain the Kiva concept to newcomers in French. The designer really wants to use real Kiva lenders and profiles in the diagram so we need both lender approval and really good lender photos. (As a side note, this is technically a donor/volunteer-driven project so you're giving permission to the "Kiva en Français" project to use your photo to help spread the word about Kiva).
Here's what we need if you are willing to help:
1) your Lender Profile URL
2) a mid-to-high resolution photo that can be used for design work. JPG is fine, images w/ a maximum dimension of 500px or more are preferable.
Ideal photos have a clear shot of you or you with friend(s)/family. Both full-body or half-body shots work. Headshots are a bit more difficult to work with for this project.
If you already have a suitable lender profile photo posted to Kiva that's fine. If not, please attach the appropriate photo to a message on this thread. We'll assume anyone posting approval+URL+photo? on this list wants to help out and let us use permission. The photos will be assembled into a sort of "lender collage" where stylized photos of lenders are represented lending money to a featured borrower. Oh yes, and some of you are already featured on the Kiva press site for approval for these things (

Thanks so much for your help! We need all of this ASAP (likely by Wednesday at the latest) since we plan to launch the french site next week! Oh, and of course, I'll update you on this thread when this all goes live.
