(I did try to do just that on Tuesday, Peter, purchase Kiva Credit from Paypal, but that's one of the transactions that went POOF! and vanished without a trace of the money. Let's everyone think happy thoughts that those of us caught in the Paypal vortex get satisfaction today, shall we?)

thinking happy thoughts,
--Diane.

The problem with that method, Peter, is that it feeds my Kiva addiction.  Wacko Shocked The minute I get some Kiva credit I go right to the site and soon find myself clicking on "Lend now." Smiley Grin Whistle

Ooops,

should've read this thread before posting in a new one about FANAFI's troubles with PayPal...it is very disturbing however and the fact that we have not heard anything as of yet to the contrary, the money has not been credited back to Heather and Jeff!!!

This ought to be a top priority for KIva!!!

Since this recent flutter started with FANAFI four days ago, I think Kay's post on the other thread makes the most sense.

In the meantime, I think it is premature to conclude anything, and I am just sad that Jeff is flying off the handle on this.

FINAFI:

You are confused.  I withdrew from Kiva and no fees were charged.  I withdrew from PayPal and no fees were charged.  Let us stop spreading rumors.
