Dear lenders,

I am a Kiva lender myself and recent Kiva Fellow (KF11, just came back from Ecuador)

I am writing my master thesis on online lending websites such as Kiva (but also Babyloan, MyC4, Microplace,...)

My purpose is to determine whether online lending is just a new class of social investors/ a new source of funding for MFIs at lower cost, or if it could revolutionize microfinance (funding, costs, interest rates, peer-to-peer connection, transparency, double bottom line)

You would really help me by filling out the following questionnaire. Answers will be anonymous.
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q7NCKSD

It should not take you more than 15 minutes.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Should you have any question, I am at your disposal

Best

I also posted this on the kivafriends team page, but I tried twice to take the survery and got to 78% complete and clicked next and was returned to the beginning.  I don't know if I have done something wrong, but it was on 2 different computers I tried it.

Same here, only at 67% or so I thought (might be wrong, though).

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.

Sorry for the bugs

I was editing the survey at the same time to ensure everything appeared in English (and not French as well, as some of you mentioned)
May have cause the bug for you
You can resume the survey where you were.
If that's not working and you are 78% in the survey, you are just missing 2 questions and the thank you page, which are:

What are the product/services you would like platforms to develop? (add education loans, add new features,…)

Anything you would like to add on online lending websites?

Thanks for your help

I got to the 44% mark and it wouldn't go further.  I hit the "previous" button thinking maybe if I got a running start at it I'd push through (yeah, I'm an idiot) but when I came back onto the page I'd just completed it was blank and I gave up.

Greetings All:

(Sorry lots of you had trouble w/ survey ... as a former programmer, I hate it when that happens; no I don't have anything to do with survey site.)

I was able to complete survey on the evening of Sept 7th, Central USA time, no problems. I'd suggest give it one more day, just for luck, then retry.

The researcher offers letting us look at her survey results and thesis, e-mail needed for that.

  Good luck,
Alan (alanm)
