Pinning loans to the team loans page would be pretty cool too.   Thumbs Up

One of my fellow co-captains mentioned tonight that he would love to be able to pin a sticky message on the team board.  He wants to be able to post a FAQ where it could be seen easily.  He said he's been asked about a million times why Kiva has no loans in India...

For teams, maybe a section labelled "featured loans" that could be chosen (pinned) by the team captains. So, for example, when a team member draws attention to a specific loan, the captains could then decide to feature it. Team members would quickly learn to go there to see what loans are being specially targetted today, which would be a help for those who have team messages turned off, too.

Also, it seems to me that the team loans page has room for 30, which would be a reasonable upper limit for featured loans. And, since this would be a separate section, there would be no need to change the arrangement of loans on the team loan list. i.e., don't take the featured loans out of the usual list as pinning on a lender page would do.

Make sense?

revert back to listing multiple lenders on one loan as it used to be (if the lending had happened close together), perhaps from a note on team messages,  instead of recent activity being limited one one lender per loan.

I don't know what happened that it went away with a roll out some months back, but would be nice to get it back.

I agree, it looked great when multiple team members were on the same loan. Please bring this feature back.

I would vote for this as priority number one.   Yes

If we are voting, then I would vote first for fixing the repayment emails as Charmaine suggested  -- if for no other reason than the 15th is coming up quickly AGAIN.  (the 8th month since Kiva broke it.)

What if (inaddition to) the Recent Activity listing (how it used to be) have a listing of all fundraising loans where there were more than 1 person of the team in on it? (sorted in order of how many were in on it) as a separate listing (and indicate which loans you were already in on)? Rather than having to have team captains actively adding loans to the list (and removing them) having the site auto-detect team involvement is actually easier and I think better for the users. The (old display of) Recent Activity functionality was being used for this purpose but that information could quickly be lost as other loans were made.

Repayments email... I'll see what can be done. The new version of the site goes live tomorrow, the next version won't be out until after repayments. It'd be pretty hard to get something new slipped in just hours prior to release that hadn't gone through the full QA cycle.

As for borrower id, the partner interface doesn't currently allow for a repeat borrower to be used with the same id. I know this is on the plan for future enhancements as it is definitely a great thing to be able to search on or get notified when a past borrower has a new loan request since many of them repeat.

on the "My Portfolio", "My Loans" section - we have the ability to sort... well kind of - you can sort what's displayed on that page  (useless)

I would like the following additions/changes to that page:

fix so that the sort runs all loans and not just what is displayed on the current page

I would think once someone did a sort -  a Group Function built into the 'loans' page that totaled the amount "you loaned" and "Paid Back" would be a nice end of sort feature.
EX:  I sort by Refunded Loans, the new page shows the 4 loans that have been refunded, but at bottom of page is a total:   Amount Loaned:  $100.00   Amount Repaid: $100.00

add a tab for "Delinquent Loans" as they are currently more common than "Refunded Loans" if no room for a tab, make it a pull down box for selection.
