Hey Soriak,

not directly, but there is a registered association (e.V.) in Karlsruhe that set up an affiliate program to fund Kiva loans (at least partly), if I am not mistaken.

Their website is here, the lender profile here.

#3 and #4 of the latest batch have been funded:

Maria Concepción Vasquez Gomez

ADA HUARCAYO LAZO
http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=21110

Soriak, sorry the only Amazon affiliate here is for the US. That said, if anyone would like to sign up and do something similar for all the local Amazon shops in every country they're in, let me know. Smiley I can put up a master list or something.

Interesting site, Oli. Thanks for posting it!

Any Seventh Generation Product users out there?

There is a great special going on at Amazon.com right now.  If you spend $59 on any Seventh Generation products, you get a $15 discount.  Pretty amazing deal if you ask me.

Amazon has the best prices to begin with on Seventh Generation anywhere around, and it is free shipping on anything over $25!

It is easy to spend $59 because they only sell the items in cases, then you don't even have to carry it in from your car, it gets delivered to your door!  A case of my laundry detergent costs $40.99, and a case has 4-112 ounce boxes of detergent.  A box ends up costing $10.24 (without the discount) when in the store it is at least $15.00 or more.  I also use their dishwashing detergent.  Love the lavender scent!

To find the coupon code for the discount, just search for the Seventh Generation product of your choice and look in the descriptive section of the item for the 'special sale' coupon code.

So use the Kivafriends Amazon shopping link, get yourself a great deal and support our Kivafriends loans!  Then spread the word!

My guess is that the offer is good for the month of November, since the 'coupon code' for the discount has the month mentioned.

Got an e-mail from Amazon yesterday. Looks like we've generated enough for 4.5 new loans in the last couple months. I'll kick in the difference to bump it up to 5.

I'll post the latest data numbers when the final statement is available on their site and, of course, links to the loans when they are made. Smiley

Thanks again to everyone who have used the Amazon link!

We are a non profit organization in Germany: Clever Spenden e.V. . We have a amazon shop for different countries. You can reach it by http://shop.clever-spenden.de . You can switch the country specific shop in the right upper corner. It is availablefor the U.S., Canada, France, Germany and the U.K.

Best regards from Germany,

Hi Christian,

und herzlich willkommen bei KivaFriends!!

You might have seen that I mentionned your site earlier in the thread. I'm not a big Amazon-shopper, but I will use it when buying from them. What I didn't know was that you could switch the Amazon-country sites. That's a pretty neat feature!

Hope you'll enjoy your time at KivaFRiends!

Still waiting on some final numbers (and payment- which should arrive in a few days) but went ahead and fronted 4 loans based on the estimates. There's probably enough for most of another, so #5 coming up soon.

Ms. Dina Mercedes Carlos Alzamora (and group)

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=30770

Ms. Emerenciana Cervan Huaman De Alc

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=30763

Ms. Leonor Huchani

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=30759

Ms. Honorata Quisbert

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=30725

I went with anyone that had a child in their picture with them, which is a nice theme. So maybe that'll be what the Amazon earnings go to from now on. Smiley

Latest loans from the Amazon affiliate stuff. Thanks again to everyone that has used that. Looks like there is enough for about 2 more. Those will be added later this week after I crunch some numbers and get final stats.

The recipients are:

Ms. Hoang Thi Huyen and baby

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=39031

Noemi Calle Flores's Group

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=38833

Ana Maria Dipaz Roa's Group

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=38456

Maarifa B Group

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=36591

Ms. Gladys Castro Suarez

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=38647

Marinee Sulca Ochoa's Group

http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=38864

Some of these are still open (as of 6pm eastern 3/2) so if you have a little something burning a hole in your pocket.... Smiley
