I saw that, but I am able to get on Groupon - other offers, sometimes, and with a lot of reloading. I just can't get on that Kiva offer because of the redirect.

I think Groupon is intentionally re-directing these request away from their site because they cannot handle the load, and are scrambling to scale to handle the Oprah effect. I suspect that about mid-night Pacific time it might be possible to access it.
Yes, Groupon has erred and someone is going to get a chiding for this.

Maybe going to the page after the main Groupon Kiva offer page will do the trick?  I just retrieved it from my browser history, and it works, while the other one is still redirecting to kiva.org

edit: https://www.groupon.com/deals/kiva-national/confirmation works also.    I'm not sure what the pledge ID number is, perhaps it was generated on the fly when I first accessed the page earlier today

Interesting, following Peter's link did work for me. (Thanks, Peter!) I suppose it could have been very lucky timing on my part, but that wouldn't be my norm. JohnR, maybe try clearing your browser cache and cookies and such before you try it? Also, do you already have a Groupon account? I was already logged into my existing account before I pasted in Peter's link.

Doh! John, I just reread your post. I did also get redirected to the Kiva page afterwards but, when I checked back on my Groupon account it showed that the purchase had been completed and was being processed. Maybe the same happened for you as well.

I don't have a Groupon account, but I went back in and instead of the re-direct I got a message that I already had an account (so it must have accepted some of it) and I should sign in.  So I signed in and got the page that shows the offer on top and my credit card info below and clicked the order button, but it keeps telling me I have to purchase exactly one.  Which as you know is hard coded into the order, so I'm guessing it thinks I'm trying to order a second one.  But I didn't get an e-mail notification.

So it looks like it thinks I already bought one, but I didn't.  Hope they don't hit up my card.
