Hi everyone,
My name is Kieran Ball, I'm a former Kiva Fellow (Cambodia and West Timor), and am happily still in the microfinance industry as well as including it in my studies. Last year I did a masters degree in risk management, with many of my essays focusing on risk management in microfinance.
My final dissertation, title to be decided, is an analysis of the growth of risk management techniques in the microfinance industry: where it is necessary and important, where it is restrictive, and how much has been copied and pasted from the mainstream banking industry (and we all know how that turned out).
Part of the paper will touch on the subject of risk perceptions, and for this I am asking people to complete the short survey (attached). It should take only 5 minutes. So far the results have been encouraging but I need a larger sample to make it statistically significant.
I would be most grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete the survey. You can do it in the word document and then just email it to me at the email address mentioned at the end of the survey (or attach it to this conversation). Also attached is the participant information sheet which gives some further information about the research.
I will report back with my findings!
Many thanks for your time, Kieran Ball
