When will Brazil have a FP? Saw old threads saying it is complicated there but no details as to efforts to get started lending.

Brazil was mentioned on the recent webinar as definitely being a country of interest to Kiva. Whether we will see it materialize in 2012, I can't say.

I made some notes on the webinar and posted them at the Milepoint site here.

Hey, that is really interesting. It would be good to see more of sub-Saharan Africa and the remaining bits of Latin America on the Kiva list. Also, so many countries have been lost to Kiva (Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Sri Lanka, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Moldova and Chad - although Chad never really started) that it would be good to see them return. I seem to recall a suggestion some time ago by Matt that Papua New Guinea was being considered. Lots of scope for future expansion.

Thanks Alan

Still no real details as to the roadblocks in Brazil. Other Milepointers have offered help but I've not heard of any offers of help being accepted.
