Look to the Stars - Kiva lists celebrities known by  the web site operators to support Kiva.  If you know of anyone else they should add, feel free to send them an update.  Smiley

Here's a note I recently received from Myrlia Purcell, co-founder of Look to the Stars.

Hi Richard,

When I looked into Kiva I realized that we had bookmarked it ages ago because we liked it so much, but hadn't gone back to do any research. I contacted Kiva to ask about celebrity support, and they told me about Adrian Grenier and a few others. You can now find the Kiva page here:

I was going to get back in touch with you about contact any celebrity, too. [http://www.contactanycelebrity.com] [KF Discussion] We sent letters off to 130 celebrities a few years ago, and only 4 letters came back as addressed to the wrong place. We received a lot of letters from celebrities' reps saying they were unable to respond in person, and the major Hollywood agencies must have thrown our letters out, because we didn't receive any responses from celebrities listed with them. We did get a really fantastic response from Jackie Chan, though.

They seem to do a really good job of keeping track of what people are looking for; I searched for Jackie Chan one day and he wasn't in the database, but a few days later he was.

Another option you might want to try is MySpace. A lot of bands and musicians have a presence there, and we have been in contact with some minor celebrities through MySpace email.

Best wishes,
Myrlia

She is single with 2 children and has received her senior high school degree. She is responsible for paying light and water bills. Her loan will be used to buy provisions and cosmetics to help fill up her store with more merchandise. She hopes to use the new profits from her business to build a house.
