Coaching The Field Partners on How to Make Their Entrepreneurs Irresistible, "THE FIRST TWO OR THREE LINES OF THE DESCRIPTION ARE THE MOST CRITICAL," especially since they show up in the rightmost column on the Kiva LEND page. One way to explicitly encourage writing "hooks" or "tag-lines" would be to add a required "title" field for each loan listing. Entrepreneurs / loan officers could be encouraged to use this title line to briefly say how the loan will be used - how it will benefit them and their family. This listing title then can be placed at the top of the description, on the Lend page and any other listings summaries.
