KIVA.ORG says that Each Field Partner establishes a reputation with Kiva.org based on: Repayment rate , journaling, and the: Social impact (as measured by the impact assessment report provided on each business at the end of the loan term) has anyone seen a social impact report for a loan they were part of? this would be excellent reading (point me to them, please)

Henry, I have written hundreds of reports for funders, donors and authorities - the latest fad being social impact reports. I am not at all convinced that these reports are valuable to lenders ( I recently asked a funder who provided 90K if the report was sufficient and he said that he didn't read them) and from my experience they are time consuming and onerous because every funder(lender) has different criteria. Most interested supporters indicate that they want a social impact report, which traditionally consists of narrative evaluation, but really want an input/output analysis. I find the journal entries, MFI records and repayment schedule meets my needs without placing extra stress on hard-working volunteers, employees or entrepreneurs. What are you seeking?

you know me, i'm just being a pain. The KIVA.ORG website says they get them on every loan. I think that's B.S. Just pushing buttons! Now, there could be one on each loan like they say, if so, i'd be interested in reading them. If they don't have them like they say, they should appologize and get it off the website. If they do have them on each loan, i'll appologize and donate something!

Gadzooks, Henry. I think I agree with you. They may not be worth much, but if they say they get them then they should have them. If they gave up and don't bother pursuing them anymore, that's okay too -- just take the statement off the website.
